Step 1: Select Windows Explorer found in your Windows Start Menu. Wait for Windows Explorer to fully load on your screen.

Step 2: Select Folders Options found under the Windows Explorer Tool Menu. Scroll over and select View. Check the box next to Show All Hidden Files and Folders.

Step 3: Expand the tree to the far left of your screen next to My Computer and the listing Local (C:) by clicking on the plus sign. Click on the plus sign next to Documents and Settings. Click the plus sign next to your username. You will see a listing under your name listed as history. Double click the history listing. All of the hidden files and folder are now displaced on your screen. If you wish to delete these files and folders, hold down the shift key and scroll down with your downward arrow key to highlight all of the file names.
