How to Clean Stains out of Car Seats
By keeping your car seats clean, you increase the aesthetic appeal of your car's interior. Unfortunately, life happens and there is not a guarantee that you will not get a stain on your car seats. But when stains happen it is best to act quickly, in order to remove the stain properly.
How to Clean Stains out of Car Seats:
Step 1: Determine the type of stains found on your car seats. Different stains require different removal processes. Once you determine the type of stains, you can easily remove them.
Step 2: Blot the stains with a clean, dry towel, if it is still wet. This will prevent a stain from occurring. If it is a large spill, continue blotting until the liquid is completely absorbed. Run an electric carpet cleaner over the spill to ensure that all of the liquid is soaked up.
Step 3: Spray window cleaner on the stains, if it was created by coffee or any type of soda. Ensure that you spray a liberal amount of the window cleaner onto the seat. Scrub the stain using a hard bristled toothbrush. Blot until you have soaked up all of the window cleaner from the seat and allow it to air dry.
Step 4: Spray hairspray on the stains, if it was created by ink. Blot with a clean cloth to absorb the released ink. Do not scrub the stain; this will only make it worse. Repeat this step until all of the ink is removed.
