If you have started your own auto body shop, you will need to develop some marketing strategies to get your business booming with customers. Friends & Family - Your friends and family will usually be more than happy to help you market your new auto body business. Car repairs are something that everyone needs, and your friends and family can offer your business as an economical solution for auto body repairs to their friends, family and co-workers.


Newspaper - Run an ad in your local community newspaper. You should include a coupon or special promotional pricing with your ad to add an incentive for a customer to choose your company over the competition. Use attention drawing keywords such as "Drastic Savings" or "Auto Repairs for Less." You want to add a phrase that is catchy and that will draw them in to read more, and ultimately choose your auto body shop over the rest.


Flyers - You can draw up flyers at home on your computer with the use of a word processing program such as Microsoft Word. Be sure to use different sized fonts and colors so that you achieve visual interest to draw the customer in to reading your flyer. Phonebook – You should place an ad for your business in the local phonebook. It does not cost much to list a business in the phone book, and it has the potential to bring in business opportunities. You can also place a coupon for a discount to new customers in the phonebook as a marketing strategy.
