How to Remove Glass Tint from Car Windows
Step 1. The first thing you need to do is roll the window slightly down so you can get to the edge of the tint. Take a rag and dip it into some soapy water and wet the edge of the glass.
Step 2. Use a razor blade to separate the tint from the window. It may take a minute or two to get the tint to separate from the window. Once it does push the razor slowly along the glass to continuously separate the tint from the glass.
Step 3. Grab the edge of the loose tint and gently pull it away from the glass, while using the razor blade to cut away at the adhesive. Keep adding more soapy water to the window to help the process move along easier. The soapy water when added to the window will help dissolve the adhesive that is holding the tint to the glass.
