Christmas Theme Party Ideas for Kids
No matter how soon it is that Christmas comes and goes, it is always best to start planning right away for the upcoming Christmas season. This can include party planning. Kids are sweet, assuming folk for the most part. As long as mom and dad are around, they really don't need a whole lot. But as parents, you want to give your babies the best. Christmas is the happiest time of year; keep it happy.
- Happy birthday to the Baby Jesus party. All who are invited can come dressed in biblical characters. From Mary and Joseph to the shepherds and wise men, kids can come in costume. The party can have some hay, reminiscent of the stable the holy family stayed in. Have some stuffed animals to represent the animals that were with the family.
- High society theme. Look up different time eras and research how the rich celebrated Christmas. Pick the top three and have everyone come dressed in that time's type of dress. People who come must bring a gift for a needy person that costs at least $75.
- The Nutcracker ballet theme. Everyone who participates must come in costume as one of the characters. One part could include all people who have taken a dance lesson, or are true ballet dancers, perform a piece from the actual play. Whoever does the piece the best wins a prize.
- Snow white theme. No, not a virgin lady living with seven questionable dirty (literally) old men. Everyone who comes must be dressed in pure white, from head to toe.
- Christmas is for giving theme. Everyone who comes must bring a gift that costs at least $50 to be given to a needy child.
