Unique Ideas for a Princess Party

Little girls love princesses and love to dress like one. If you are having a princess themed party, you can decorate the house like a castle and create a fairy tale party for the little princess in your life.  Many party stores sell princess items, but use your own unique ideas for a real princess party.

• Every little girl loves to wear a princess dress.  Have the invitations ask the guests to wear princess dresses.  Have the invitation addressed to Princess Mary, Jane, etc. Or, have a room of princess dresses that the guests can choose from. 


• A good idea for a party game can be making tiaras.  Have a table with gemstones and glitter to decorate the tiaras.  Let them make sparkling wands so that they can grant wishes like a little fairy.


• Have a couple of older girls help the little princesses make up their faces and paint their fingernails. Make little party favor bags with lip glosses and fingernail polishes for the little princesses.


• Dress the dining room up like a princess fairy room with pink streamer dangling across the room.  Use fancy plates and matching cups for the princess tea party and serve little tiny cupcakes and little tiny peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Put chips in a bowl on the table. Put juice in the teapot for the tea party and pour the 'tea' into the cups.


• Don't forget the princess birthday cake for the birthday princess. Have the cake made in pink and a fairy princess put on it. Serve with ice cream.
