Apply the mixture to all scars with a q-tip or cotton ball. Allow the mixture to sit on the skin overnight to be rinsed off in the morning. Be careful not to apply full strength lemon juice to the skin. It is very acidic and can burn if applied improperly.
Onion Extract
Mederma is a popular product sold in drug stores that contains onion extract. The formula is highly concentrated and has been proven to remove scars. There are many generic brands that have similar formulas, but the concentration of onion extract may not be as high as Mederma. The light cream can be worn during the day as well as at night.
