"No, don't ever get a windshield from a junk yard. You end up with a window that is already chipped or cracked, pitted , sun faded , de-laminating and no shop will warranty a used part. If it was a side or back glass it would be a different story but the windshield is laminated and the other parts are tempered. 2 very different things. Spend about 20 bucks more and have a brand new windshield without any hassle. A shop can come right to your house or job and put it in , takes under an hour and you will have a lifetime warranty against it leaking or any workmanship. 60 to 80 bucks for a used windshield plus about 70 to install it equals about 150 and a new one installed will be about 170 which includes a brand new top molding. P.S. they don't just fall out like in the movies. it takes skill and the right tools and it is attached to the body of your car with special high viscosity urethane that holds about 1200 pounds per square inch."
