   A school bus is "ok" but usually not very comfortable for trips longer than 30 minutes or so.

   Many companies offer shuttle bus rentals. I have not heard of renting a school bus.

   I don't believe so at least here in Maine they are not for hire you must use the chartered busesfor hire.
