Lexmark is preventing the use of compatible ink in your printer!
We have reports, that Lexmark has re-engineered their newer model ink and laser printers that are electronically coded to only accept genuine name brand Lexmark toner and ink cartridges. This in my opinion is in clear violation of the Sherman Anti Trust laws that protect consumers form a tying restriction of one product they own, to another product that they are required to purchase to work. In order to fight back and keep your right to find a better deal on otherwise expensive ink or toner cartridges from the original manufacturer, we recommend you do not purchase lexmark office equipment. Stay with HP or other brands which don't stand in the way of your choice to use recycled and compatible ink and toner cartridges.
