I am a member of BullsEye Radio - www.bullseyeradio.com - which is a over 40 community just like facebook but way better than them. I love going there to relax and listen to great oldies music and socializing with people from all over the world. They have great advertising opportunities there UNDER $50.00 that go worldwide , so . . . .yes It can help depending on what community you join. Places like facebook are loaded with teens , ignorance , rude and offensive remarks . . . . .you wont find none of that at BullsEye. Totally enjoyable , and tenn free and drama free environment !

Social Media, when done correctly, can influx your business in many ways. Depending on your business. It can keep customers up to date with your current activities and or promotions. New services offered, as well as develop a following. The goal with social media is not to sell them on the site, the goal is to funnel the traffic you get from social media outlets to your website to make the sale.
With my business, case in point, we use various forms of social medial to funnel the traffic into our website. In turn google looks at us as an authority figure and our organic rankings increase. Thus providing us with customers actually looking for what we offer.

To me first need to define what is meant by social networks. I'm not a big fan of lead meetings. For me the value of social networking is a chance for you to show the community who you are, your values, and allowing them to have a conversation with you. From that business may grow. But, it isn't a replacement for prospecting. it is more of a introduction. Find out how other people in your business are promoting themselves in networking. Stay away from negative thoughts! Be active in looking for the answers.

social networking is a huge benefit to a business, facebook, twitter, youtube is but just a few ways to get your business recognized and trusted all for no expense to you other than your time, just remember to always take care of your customer because they can just as easily hurt you with negative reviews etc..

I have found that actually working on real relationships with real people has a higher profit margin than a few quick blurbs on the computer. Having a real relationship with your customer is like having a part time sales person for free.

It has certainly helped my business! This is where EVERYONE IS AT right now, it's simple and easy to market this way. I believe that if you have the time, if you can dedicate, not even an hour, of work on social sites you can generate business. From asking a simple "Do you like _______ or ______ on a facebook status, or creating a facebook page, to hashtags on instagram. It works! USE IT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

Everyone talks about a strategy, lets face it most small business have a simple strategy-get my site name out in front! Social networking is one important key and should not be ignored, however what we need is a great tool to collect, file and sort relevant data on social site which pertain to us, and then be able to answer or manage them quickly with a key stroke, Ive been looking for such a tool, but they all cost, and any cost for small business is a troubling word. Between new algorithms by Google and Bings slow progress to recognize sites, and countless tweets and media snips, what we need is a better tool to manage it all.

social networking is a form of interaction, communication with others. As such, we reach each other, get to know one another as businesses and as individuals behind the businesses. What better way to build trust. While there is immediate information gleaned, the longevity of the relationship and the kind of rapport gleaned can be most beneficial.

The social media landscape changes rapidly and keeping up with the latest numbers is an essential part of continuing to make your marketing relevant and focused. Soaring usage of social media is creating an interesting dynamic in the marketplace by creating a dramatic shift in power to the customer. No longer does a loyal customer simply represent a repeat purchase or occasional referral business. Customers now have the ability to broadcast sentiment about the businesses they visit and services they use to thousands of people instantly.
This means loyal customers are a small business’s de facto marketing department. Due to the emergence and adoption of social media, customers now have the ability to generate new business, craft a brand image, and inspire loyalty through tweeting, blogging, reviewing, following, and so forth. Given a small business’ limited time and resources, this can be a highly valuable asset if managed appropriately.
