Hypnosis is a good tool for improving ourselves, for de-stressing and for self-discovery. Hypnosis calms you giving you confidence and energy to continue on more productively. If you are at a crossroad in life or struggling to conquer an addictive habit or behavior, hypnosis can help you find the direction you need. Hypnosis can also be used for pre-surgery anxiety, to ease pain and to encourage healing.

For deeper issues, hypnosis also, gets you in touch with emotional experiences of the past, and with understanding and awareness it’s easier to let go of the control the past has over you.

A human skill is to proficiently operate our minds and hypnosis is a key to do that. It’s amazing but in the still quiet part of the mind, a person can usually come up with what’s best for them. All we need to do is to take the time to listen.

Hypnotism can be really effective for some people, especially for things like breaking habits or managing stress. It all depends on the individual and how open they are to the process. While we're on the topic, if you're ever in need of an emergency dentist in Newnan, GA, be sure to have a good one on speed dial. It's always better to be prepared!

I get this questions weekly from curious potential clients. Hypnosis has an extraordinary ability to help with most human behavioral or debilitating beliefs. The two most important factors are first the client must want to make the change (no one can be forced to change) second the hypnotist must be flexible enough to learn what techniques will best help the client accept a positive new outcome. If you want to use hypnosis for your self find a professional practitioner that offers a satisfaction guarantee. ( Guaranteeing results in most states is illegal) As in the case of NAIPHN we guarantee satisfaction in a very straight forward manner. At the end of your session if you DO NOT feel any positive results will be reached for you then you simply DO NOT pay for the session. We at NAIPHN also offer a sliding scale for our fees and the client decides the amount that best fits their budget. So we remove all the RISK from our clients and place the responsibility on ourselves to provide the opportunity for everyone to experience clinical hypnosis for your self!

  5. Trance to Change: Hypnotherapy, Behavioral Therapy, Life Coaching
Absolutely. Hypnotism, hypnotherapy or hypnosis as it is commomly referred to works with what is called a trance state. The trance state allows your conscious thinking mind to rest opening up direct communication with your subconscious or inner mind. This is where a lot of healing can be done by removing block, obstacles or even the triggers of long term habit patterns. A tip. If you are seeking services be sure you have a good rapport with the practitioner you choose. Trust is important in this process. Good luck.

Not only does it work but has been doing so for many decades. It was originally recognized by the American Medical Association back in 1958 as a valid medical therapy and is commonly categorized in the Complimentary and Alternative Medicine (CAM).

Think of your brain in two parts - conscious and subconscious. The conscious part is very analytical and wants to think everything through. It controls less than 1% of your body functions and doesn't always to a great job of memory. Your subconscious mind is the exact opposite. It controls most all body functions, remembers everything and responds to whatever feels good. Hypnosis moves aside your stogy, analytical conscious mind and talks directly to the subconscious. It "relearns" a behavior that needs adjusting and you become that person.

Some of the more common sessions are for stress relief, smoking cessation, weight management, confidence building, sales motivation, pain management (with doctor's referral), child behavior modification, fears (bugs, public speaking, flying, etc), and pre-and post- surgical operation.

Under hypnosis, you are fully aware of everything, not in a trance, not asleep, hear everything, will not divulge any secrets, can not get "stuck" and most importantly, can never be made to do anything you don't want to do. It is perfectly safe, natural and very effective.

Have a behavior you'd like modified? Give your local hypnotherapist a call and make an appointment. It's simply a matter of changing your mind!

According to the N.I.H. and numerous studies done at various universities, there is statistical evidence that hypnosis works for stopping smoking, weight loss, successful surgeries, fertility and many other issues. Check on the Internet. There is too much evidence to list it here.

Hypnosis is when you open that channel of communication with your subconscious, unconscious or inner mind so you can be guided in how to resolve internal conflicts, change old limiting decisions and beliefs that are causing negative emotional blocks, re-pattern self-sabotaging behaviors, and discover more powerful and positive ways to have inner peace and happiness.

Yes, hypnosis does work! The exact reasons are not fully known, however as long as one is willing to act or change upon a hypnotherapist's suggestion hypnosis will work! One can not be made to do anything against their will or moral standard.
