great service/not so great Ford technology
The service dept has been great. Rodger was very helpful and attentive as was the whole service staff. The only down side was the loaner/rental car deal. Very inconvenient and slow! It took me well over 45 minutes to get to Hertz (had to wait for Hertz to pick me up at ...WC Ford then over 30 mites waiting in line to get the loaner car. WC Ford Is a high end, customer service oriented business which is why I keep going back. Why not go the extra step and provide needs their own loaner car fleet as many other dealers have. On the other hand,I'm not very happy with Ford. I bought a new 2013 Ford Escape with Sync capabilities (one of the reasons I bought it) and now it is not fully operable. Text messaging capabilities stopped working after approx 6 months. Ford has been unable to identify the problem other than to say it is due to software updates. That it is my phone (Apple iphone) and not my car. Really??Well, it worked when I bought it. I realize this is not due to any problem with WC Ford and would highly recommend them. But Ford Motors?? Keep up with technology Ford! It can't be that difficult.
