I am trying to determine what size central air conditioner I need for my home?
My home is 3265 square feet and would like to know what size central air condioner I require. I believe it would be somewhere between 3ton and 3.5ton. Does anyone know how to determine?

I would Recommend 4 Or 5 Ton For Your Home Size there is a formula I believe it 15 to 19 BTU per foot

either the expensive way, get a load calculations done... or 350-450sqft per ton

Ask a pro they will do a load test for free. You may also get away with not heating or cooling room that don't need it. \n\n

A ballpark answer would be 600SF per ton of air conditioning, but thats a guesstimate. There are many variables in sizing HVAC equipment.
