It seems more and more brides are pulling away from favors and going green! Instead of favors, place a card at each table that Thanks your guest for attending and in honor of each guest a donation has been made to (your favorite organization, church, shelters, etc) or some are planting trees in local parks or planting a bulb bed that will come back year after year. Favors don't have to be mints or candies anymore!

One couple in San Francisco commissioned one of our artists for an oil painting of their projected wedding spot (a vineyard). Once the painting was completed, we reproduced small limited editon canvases for all of the wedding guests. The original was framed and displayed in the main hall. When the guests opened their wedding favors, they were as moved as the the newlyweds. We would be happy to do the same for other couples.

I love unique favors. Like and Elegant Refelection said, try the Arbor Day foundation, they have tree favors to give. Also, the ASPCA has favors for animal lovers. Or, my favorite, something everyone wants...try mini cologne for men or mini makeup for women. Sephora has alot of affordable.

You could always present everyone with a wallet sized engagement photo that you and your significant other signs and dates on the back. It would be a good keepsake and the handwritten signature will make it even more meaningful.
