1. My light switch is sizzling?
   

   I turned the light switch on in my room and you can hear it popping an sizzling !what is wrong?and should i have someone look at it?

   Your Switch Is Arcing There Are Lose Wire Connection And When you Open It If It Looks Charred Black Change The Switch But First Shut Power At Breaker Box

   Looks like you have the answer as to why you hear sizzling the only thing would add is that you should always turn off the breaker as a safety measure when dealing with electrical issues. Good Luxk

   You have a very dangerous fire hazard situation. Most likely the sound is arcing from the wire to the contact on the switch.
   
   I would advise you to repair or have repaired by a qualified professional A.S.A.P..
