  2. Imaginative Images
If you're looking for something impressive, use items that the folks will want to take home with them. Try something like a cd with all the special songs for your day, a slideshow of your photos from babies to wedding...even better, burn songs that remind you of the special people there and put a dedication to each person on the cd cover! We do those kinds of favors and more. Contact me if you'd like some other ideas.

This quesiton comes up all the time. There are several things that you can do that are economical and memorable. Bubbles with your names on them, personalized water bottles with your pictures on them, M&M;'[s with your initials on them or a message on them are certainly within most brides budgets. Remember its the thought that counts not how much you spend on them.
    Good Luck

We actually had three - all inexpensive. At the sign in table, (where guests pick up their place cards) - we had boxes wrapped in our color, white with black and red ribbon, that contains a small picture frame, (white ceramic from dollar store). SInce we got married at the Shore, we had Chocolate seashell lollipops at every place setting, and our "Favor" was little white boxes filled with salt water taffy with black or red organza the boxes were embossed with our wedding logo, names & date. (we ordered them when we got our invitations), so we got them very CHEAP!

I'm not sure how impressive it was but for my wedding I bought tiny dollar store vases then placed wedding colored sand in them and placed it on a tiny dollar store mirror with on which I stenciled the Date of the wedding. finally I put a votive candle and a name card on them for the seating arrangement. pretty placeholders and gift in one.

Combining "Impressive" with "cheap" is a tough assignment. But, here is my suggestion; A "5 Day/4 Night Hawaii Getaway For Two!" for the "Affiliate Licensing" Fee of $99.00. Then you print as many as you want for only the printing costs! How many would you like to print? Figure out the cost of the Hotel stay for "Impressive"!

  7. Bella Blooms Florist
The thing that makes a wedding favor "impressive" is the personalization and packaging. Something as simple as a beautifully decorated cookie wrapped in a clear bag with a satin ribbon is lovely. Even getting a local candy store to do little boxes of candy w/your name on the box or tag is pretty too... both ideas are yummy! For one wedding we filled sheer organza bags w/choc. kisses and tied a little than you note on it.

  8. The Irish Inn
We host wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and small receptions at The Irish Inn. Over the years we have seen many interesting wedding favors. Our favorite party favors are specially labeled bottles of wine. We are in wine country in Southernmost Illinois, and there are 32 wineries nearby. One winery called Hogg Hollow in Glendale, Illinois takes a jpg photo file and creates labels commemorating the marriage. The bride and groom select the wine according to the taste of most of the guests -- could be strawberry, blackberry, or several varieties of grape. The cost is about $10 - $16/bottle, and this is a one-of-a-kind wedding favor!

    Amber,
For my sons wedding we had taken some beautiful engagement pictures... one in particular was a scene of them walking away together, hand in hand, on a wooden bridge, symbolizing their new life together, etc. I took that photo, changed it to black and white, added a border complimentary to her wedding colors, and text "Thank You for sharing our day" with their names -- we had oodles of compliments and it was something they could and probably would actually keep!!!
I put them 4-up on a 4x6 card - so they were each only a nice 2x3 size and sent them to be printed at walgreens for pennys, then cut them apart. it was beautiful!
