Non-prep-veneers can be adhered to the teeth without preparation and are produced in 24 hours with the CEREC-Technology. What sets them apart from conventional veneers is that they are much more filmy than conventional veneers, with a width of only 0,3 mm. Non-prep veneers cannot be applied upon patient's request. They depend upon certain factors, such as the placement of the teeth in the jaw and if the teeth need to be prepared for the veneers or not. Also they cannot be used for teeth with fillings because the filling will be still visible through the non-prep-veneer.
