Now I am an american citizen & I live in san francisco currently since the past year, I dont go to school here but I do go to school abroad (in france) my dad pays for everything & I dont even work so I guess I am quite fortunate that money is not too much of a problem for me, However my boy friend says he cannot find a co-signer for a loan for the next year or so( hes on his 3rd school year right now)
He tells me I should have a perfect credit, & that I can co-sign. But I dont understand too much of this.
I think its risky, isnt it?
Moreover I will not be in this country america for several more years as I go to college in france(I can speak french aswell) & naturally I will be breaking up with my boyfriend in less than 2 weeks because I must go.
He tells me to co-sign for him, but I tell him that I dont know if thats a good idea since I wont be in america & I will be doing my own thing, but he says he will payback his loans etc.

I told him that if I co-sign it binds us together & that I become responsable for you faults.
though I donot understand this system too well.
What should I do? should I not co-sign?(maybe especially since I wont be there?), he sounds desperate & I dont know if hes trustable & trying to manipulate me, he's saying it like its no problem, but I dont want any trouble to occur to me one day in the future.

In Mass. it is illegal for a real estate agent to recommend a home inspector due to the inherent conflict of interest, yet in all other states it is legal.
